Transparency in Coverage (TIC) regulations require health insurers and group health plans to create machine readable files (MRFs) that contain the negotiated rates for in-network providers and allowed amounts derived from historical claims for out-of-network providers and make those files publicly available.
A machine readable file is a digital representation of data or information in a file that can be imported or read by a computer system for further processing without human intervention. The link below will allow you to search for files using the Welfare Fund’s Employer Identification Number (EIN 35-0923209).

If you are a Retiree that has the Class CP coverage, this coverage includes the Medicare Advantage Plan with Prescription Drug coverage through United Healthcare. With this coverage, your questions and concerns in regard to medical claims and/or prescriptions will be directed to RetireeFirst. To reach your RetireeFirst advocate, you will call the Fund Office at (812) 238-2551 or 1-800-962-3158 and select option 5.
